 5th Jan 2013  - Arrival

It was Saturday. Golf was not in the schedule for the day.

Me: "How about we go somewhere not so near from the house, for lunch?", I asked Gade.
Gade: "Where?!", as usual, travelling always makes him excited.
Me: "Sitiawan".
"Ah! I know laaa..., you want to go to the vineyard, right daddy?", he replied with a big smile.

And he was right.

5th Jan 2013 - Flame Seedless seedling, one of the four I had bought
during the visit

 6th Feb 2013 - ????   - Growing Stage

Why planting in the pot after what happened to the IAC#1 (check my posting Breaking The Pots) ? Well, it was Okay with my IAC#2 especially, and something that I have learned, that it is compulsory to use a very porous media when planting in a pot, ie. avoid excessive clay, use more sand and compost plus coconut fiber.

The shoot was clipped when it reached the lowest trellis wire, triggering for more secondary shoots (branches) to grow from the buds close to the pruned tip. I chose the best two and trained them on the wire, using plastic tape, forming a "T".

3rd Apr 2013 - the left and right arms were growing very healthy

Both arms (to be the future cordons) were clipped when they reached about 3 meter long, which induced the development of tertiary branches along both arms. Those tertiary branches were subsequently trained to grow upward, tied to the wires using elastic plastic tape.
9th Jun 2013 - shoots (tertiary branches) growing vigorously from the left and right arms
on the double curtains trellis system

(TO BE CONTINUED)

 (or below). Thanks a lot!
